Canada One Travel Company, Inc. (along with its subsidiaries Canada One Vacations and Canada One Travel Planners) respects your right to privacy. We believe in giving you full disclosure about the kind of information we gather and what we do with it. Your name, email address, zip code and any other identifying information that you give us will not be given to anyone else outside of our office for their use of communications unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so. At all times, you have the option to remove yourself from our lists before your information is disclosed.

As a member of trade organizations IATA, ACTA, ASTA and the Better Business Bureau, we abide by its code of ethics and standards of practice, including its internet privacy policy. Furthermore, our privacy policy is consistent with the ten principles of the PIPEDA Statute. Canada One Travel\'s Senior Administrator is responsible to ensure compliance of the Act by establishing the procedure for collection, use, security and maintenance of information collected.

2. Identifiable Personal Information

This is information you may have given us about who you are, such as:

name, mailing address, email address, phone and fax
demographic information (such as age and education)
member login user name and password to Canada One secured website and Rewards Program
your interests and preferences
transactional information (such as history of your purchases or the fact that your name and address was obtained by us on our contest entry)
other personal information pertinent to specific purpose such as China Visa application
credit information and verification for transactional purposes

3. Identifying Purposes

This information is gathered for several reasons including:

completing your air, hotel, car bookings, and itineraries
Visa application (such as China)
communicating with you about changes to your travel plans, service updates
providing the product, information or service you requested
membership participation to Canada One secured website, and membership participation to Canada One Rewards program.

4. Limiting Collection

We do not collect personal information from bulletin boards or forums. Your personal information is supplied to us through your direct disclosure to Canada One and partners when making air, hotel, tour package bookings; subscribing to Canada One Membership and/or Canada One Rewards Program.

5. Your consent and accuracy

Forms such as Credit Card Pre-authorization form require your name (printed) and signature acknowledging consent and accuracy. You will be directed to this our Privacy Policy posted here when you a) use the pre-authorization form, b) sign up for a Canada One Membership, or c) enroll in the Canada One Rewards Program.

6. Limiting use and retention of your personal information

Your credit card number, debit card number, or banking information for pre-authorized payments is used only for processing payments and for presenting you with payment options - NOT for any marketing purposes.
Your will not be spammed. When you sign up to subscribe to a Canada One membership, you will only receive email messages from Canada One Travel. You will have the opportunity to opt-in or opt-out of our service provider communication broadcasts. At all times, you will have control over the type of information you want and don\'t want to receive.
You will be able to get off our mailing lists (unsubscribe) at any time, no questions asked. Our e-mail communication will always include an identification of the sender and an "Unsubscribe" option for you to automatically remove from our list or lists.
We keep your information for the time we are providing you with a product or service and for a reasonable time thereafter in the event that you wish to resume service with us.

7. Anonymous/Aggregated Information

This is information that cannot identify you personally, such as browser information (i.e. the URL of the web page you were just on, the IP address of the computer you are using, your domain type, and your browser version) and cookies.

During your visit to our sites, we may record choices you have made and use this to provide more customized content or advertising. The data does not identify you and is not retained after your visit. This is sometimes called "clickstream" data.

If we do market research studies or polls in any area that will only be reported in aggregate, this will be indicated. We may develop summary reports for advertisers based on total number of visitors to our sites, average length of visit, etc. No identifying data about individuals will be reported.

8. Security & Safeguards

We make every reasonable effort to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of personal information under our control. Our security measures are periodically reviewed and enhanced with technological advances.

We operate secure data networks protected by industry standard firewall and password protection systems. Credit card information is processed using industry-standard encryption and security.

Only authorized individuals and suppliers have access to customer information. Where information is sent to a third party for processing, we make sure, through our contracts with them, that all customer information is kept secure.

9. Legal Obligations

It is our and all organizations legal obligations to be in compliance to the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (or "PIPEDA"). Although it is highly unlikely, we may be required by law to provide information to law enforcement or judicial authorities in certain cases.

Extension

Extended stays are permitted subject to availability and applicable charges. Such requests are to be made at the time of booking prior to departure.

Price

All prices quoted are in Canadian funds based on tariffs, rates of exchange, costs and schedules in effect as on date of quotation and are subject to change without notice. Airfares used are based on round trip economy excursion fares and are governed by rules and conditions applicable to this type of fare. Further more tour prices are based on twin sharing with minimum of 2 people to operate. Single supplement therefore will only be applicable when there are 3 or more people traveling together. For single traveler, supplement applies.

Travel Documents Needed

Please see your travel agent and/or local health clinic for up to date information on passports, visas, photographs and vaccinations required at the time your reservations are made. It is your responsibility to ensure you carry the correct documentation.

Baggage

Baggage is at owner\'s risk throughout the tour. Trans Pacific baggage allowance is not more than two pieces checked, with the combined total dimensions of which may not exceed 106 inches. Some carriers within Asia restrict the total baggage weight (including hand carried) to 10 kilograms (44 lbs.). Additional charges for excess baggage may apply.

Hotels

Accommodation is based on sharing in twin bedded rooms. Single rooms may be provided upon payment of single supplements as indicated. Canada One Travel Company Inc. will endeavor to provide the specified hotel at all times. In event that a particular hotel is unavailable, passengers will be accommodated in another property of equal or better class.

Reservations/Deposits/Balance Payments

Reservations may be made through any bona fide travel agent. A deposit of $300.00 per person is required within 10 days from date of confirmation. Final payment is due 90 days prior to departure. Failure to comply with this requirement will result in automatic cancellation of the reservations and the refund of deposit if and, less cancellation penalties, will be made.

Cancellation Penalties/Refunds

Refunds, less an administration fee of $100.00 per person will be made for cancellations received more than 90 days before departure. Penalties for cancellations made less that 90 days prior to departure will be assessed as follows:

9 - 60 days prior to departure	$300 per person
59 - 45 days prior to departure	35% of tour cost
44 - 15 days prior to departure	50% of tour cost
14 - 07 days prior to departure	75% of tour cost
06 - day of departure	00% of tour cost

After commencement of the tour, no refunds can be given for any hotel accommodation, meals, sightseeing or other items included in our tour price when not utilized.

Credit Card Reservations

Your authorization of the use of your credit card to make reservations with Canada One Travel Company, Inc. binds you to our booking terms and conditions even without your signature on the applicable credit card draft. Charges will be made immediately against your credit card account with your verbal authorization. The travel agent must secure a letter of confirmation signed by the card holder authorizing the use of his/her credit card without his/her signature. It is advised a copy of this must be kept on file by the travel agent. In the event of a charge dispute, the travel agent will be held responsible for the payment of the reservation.

Insurance

Canada One Travel Company, Inc. is not responsible for damage, loss or theft of baggage or personal belongings, nor for personal injury, accidents or illness. For your own protection, it is important to have sufficient medical and baggage insurance coverage. Trip cancellation insurance is also strongly recommended and must be taken out at time of booking. Your travel agent will be happy to arrange insurance based on your personal travel needs.

Liability

Canada One Travel Company, Inc. acts only as an agent for Carriers, Transportation Companies, Hotels, and all other contractors and will therefore have to disclaim responsibility for any loss, damage, accidents, change of schedule or other irregularities caused or arising from circumstances beyond their control. Canada One Travel Company, Inc. reserves the right to change the itinerary with or without notice if found in the best interest of all concerned. The right is also reserved to accept or reject any person as a tour participant or to cancel a tour at any time, in which case Canada One Travel Company, Inc. shall have no responsibility beyond the refund of moneys paid by the tour participant. Canada One Travel Company, Inc. will not be responsible for any costs resulting from any Tour Member\'s improper documentation. The airlines concerned are not held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time passengers are not on board their planes or conveyance. The passenger\'s contract is in use by the airlines concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the airlines and purchaser of this tour and/or passenger. Any or all transportation companies herein mentioned shall have or incur no responsibility for liability to any traveler aside from their liability as common carriers.
